Burg Law will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and relating laws and regulations.
1. Personal information
Personal Information shall mean information relating to a living person such as name, gender, birth date, organization he or she belongs to, position, address, telephone number, e-mail address and any other information which may identify a specific person.
2. Management of Personal Information
We will carefully and adequately manage Personal Information, which we receive from a client so that no illegal access, misplacement, or any other security breach shall occur.
3. Purpose of Use of Personal Information
This site may receive Personal Information of a client. In that case we will adequately use such Personal Information for the purposes stated below.
- Coping with inquiries from a client;
- Coping with requested matters of a client;
- Sending greeting cards, mail magazines to clients;
- Conducting analysis to improve services of this site or to create a new service; and

We will not provide Personal Information, which we receive from a client to a third party without receiving consent of the concerned person, unless we are permitted to disclose it under the Act of Protection of Personal Information or any other laws and regulations as stated below:
- when it is difficult to obtain consent from the concerned person, if required for the protection of a person's life, body or property;
- when it is difficult to obtain consent from the concerned person, if specifically required for the improvement of public health or the advancement of the sound development of children;
- if necessary to cooperate with national organizations or local authorities or persons entrusted by any such parties in order for them to perform their duties under the relevant laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the concerned person is likely to obstruct the performance of such duties; and
- if the provision of such information is otherwise permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act
5. Disclosure, Amendment or the Like concerning Personal Information
If you wish disclosure, amendment or deletion of the Personal Information provided by a client, please provide a request from the owner of the Personal Information. We will promptly cope with the request upon confirming the identification of the requesting person. We may not be able to comply with your request, if your request does not satisfy the requirements prescribed by the Personal Information Protection Act or if there is a reason for us to decline disclosure or the like pursuant to the Personal Information Protection Act or any other relevant laws and regulations.
Please note that we may request payment of the fees for notification and/or disclosure of the purpose of use of the personal information.
